Welcome to Bangladesh Assemblies of God!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bangladesh Assemblies of God (BAG) is a Pentecostal Church Denomination serving in Bangladesh since 1945. the BAG is in affiliation with the World Assemblies of God Fellowship. It was established with the arrival of earlier pioneering missionaries in the early nineteen forties, the Bangladesh Assemblies of God (BAG) continues to carry forward their God given\u00a0 mission and vision to fulfill the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

We pay our tributes to all the past and present missionaries, pastors and workers who have faithfully committed themselves to the task of bringing hope and healing to the lost and hurting people.\u00a0 We are indebted to all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BAG was officially registered under the Society Act in the year 1955. We also have a separate registration under the Trust Act. To carry out all development works, BAG has also a registered NGO called Ashirbad.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BAG has two hundred thirty Credentialed ministers. The General Executive Board is elected for a three year term in the General Council. In the year 2000 we divided our work in four divisional councils. Each Divisional council has its own elected board.<\/span><\/p>\n

The BAG now has churches and presence in forty six districts out of the sixty four and has over four hundred Churches, branches and outreaches. The Church planting rate is \u201cone Church every three weeks\u201d.\u00a0 All glory to the Lord!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our caring arm NGO Ashirbad is a registered Non-Government Organization (NGO) with the Government of Bangladesh. We have fifty five church schools for four thousand three hundred twenty children and two hundred forty three workers. We also run Hostels and Girls\u2019 homes in different districts of Bangladesh.<\/span><\/p>\n

In partnership with the Assemblies of God Missions we have the Assemblies of God Bible College where workers are trained.\u00a0 The BAG plan also includes regional Bible Schools.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are thankful to our partners the Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) FIDA International, Paul Bible World Mission (PBWM), One Child Matters (OCM), Grace Missions Singapore, Glad Tiding Malaysia, GSJA Mercy for All Indonesia and Local churches and Organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n

This official website contains all the information needed for you to be involved in prayer, support and build partnership with different projects and to be well informed of what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing through the Assemblies of God in Bangladesh.<\/span><\/p>\n
